No one wants the third book of The Unaltered Series completed more than I do! So what's the problem, you ask? Well, life got in the way.
2012 was filled with many exciting adventures, one of which was moving my family to the Pacific Northwest from Idaho, another was helping another author with his memoir. I'm just barely resurfacing for air, but am working hard on my book now.
One of the setbacks of being a self-published (Indy) author is I don't have an agent or publisher breathing down my neck pressing for deadlines to be met. However, a bigger setback is giving my readers a deadline and then not meeting it. I sure didn't mean to be so inconsistent ... I'll do better!!!
A Diamond in my Pocket is still ranking well on Barnes & Noble with over 360 ratings of 4.5 stars on average. Because it's free, a good percentage who like the book go on to buy the second. Hopefully I won't let my fans down with book #3. I won't release it until I feel it will measure up to your expectations ... well, as much as possible. As soon as this book releases, I will start right in on the final book (#4) and get it out ASAP. I won't be giving estimated release dates anymore ... I've learned all too well that some things are not in my control, dang it.
I will post a release date once my book gets a thumbs up from my editor. Stay tuned for more information, and thank you for reading my books.
